Bio:

Eli Cedrone is a nationally recognized artist living in the Boston area. She has won numerous awards including Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America and International Artists.  A graduate of the School of Art & Design (Suffolk University), Cedrone also studied in Florence, Italy, the School of the Museum of Fine Art and the Academy of Realist Art, Boston. She began her career as an art director in Bermuda, followed by work as an editorial designer and Illustrator in Laguna Beach, CA. She returned to Boston in 1996 and began painting and teaching full-time.  She is the recipient of several residencies and fellowships and has participated in juried invitationals in the US and abroad. Cedrone has attained the level of Copley Master at the Copley Society of Art, Boston.  Her work has been featured in Plein Air, Fine Art Connoisseur and International Artist’s Magazine.  Represented by Waterhouse Gallery, Santa Barbara, CA; Gallery Antonia, Chatham, MA; Charles Fine Arts Gallery, Gloucester, MA; Windjammer Gallery, Bermuda.

“Landscape painting for me is a journey in search of something that evokes a personal response to nature beyond the obvious and descriptive. Ultimately my concerns are with the expressive qualities of light captured with paint.”
