Bio:

Gary started off in Architecture, but moved into Industrial Design at Pratt Institute. After college he traveled in Europe and worked as an art Bronze sculpture finisher for Hermann Noack Foundry in West Berlin. When he returned to the states he went back to college and attained his Art Education certification. At that time he also started teaching at Keystone College (Pa.) in the sculpture department.

He moved to Florida to take care of his elderly parents, and worked as a roster Visual Artist for the Center for Creative Education in Palm Beach County. Opportunity arose, and he moved to Seattle. And for the next 13 years he taught all high school Art disciplines and taught Raku workshops for Seattle Pottery Supply. He retired in 2011, and moved to northern New Mexico, where for the last 10 years he has been teaching Jewelry Fabrication and Casting at New Mexico Highlands University and occasionally at SFCC.

In 2024 he moved to Vero Beach for the winters, and will be teaching Jewelry Casting at the Lighthouse Art Center, the Armory Art Center and Jewelry Fabrication at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
