A native of Ibaraki, Japan, Hiromi began her formal study of painting at nine years old under the direction of Renjoin Sensei. Under his guidance she began to develop her painting skills, causing her to fall in love with the creative art. In 2008 she received her BFA in Japanese Traditional Painting, from Joshibi University of Art and Design. She received an MFA in Painting, at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, 2012. Her artistic focus is on creating artwork focused on her cultural foundations in nature.
