Bio:

  • Gold platinum and silver jewelry since 1973
  • BFA New York Institute of Technology 1963
  • MFA Cranbrook Academy of Art 1965
The studio work for my MFA degree was in both furniture design metals and exhibition design. In 1965 I began teaching in the Art Department of New York Institute of Technology through 1973. I started designing and making jewelry while living in Spain in 1973. My focus since then has been on one of a kind designs for private clients. In 1975 I opened a fine craft gallery in the Hudson River town of Nyack New York This gallery included my jewelry studio where I met with clients and produced one of a kind pieces for them. I work with gold platinum silver and a wide variety of gemstones. I’m experienced with the fabrication and the lost wax casting process. In 1997 I started teaching a jewelry workshop one morning a week at Rockland Community College which I continue to do for 17 years until moving to Florida in 2015.
