Kelsey Bowen is a figurative ceramic sculptor. She received her BFA in Ceramics from the California College of the Arts in Oakland, California and went on to create work as an Artist in Residence at the Red Lodge Clay Center in Montana. After her residency, she stayed in Montana where she currently lives and works as a professional artist and ceramic instructor at Rocky Mountain College. Kelsey exhibits her work at galleries internationally and across the United States from Oregon to New York. Her work focuses on storytelling and narrative through gesture and objects. She creates each figure with the desire to capture a moment within a story.
