Lyudmila Tomova Clark
Bio:
Lyudmila Tomova Clark is an award-winning artist renowned for her impressionist style. She paints en plein air landscapes, figures and portraits in oil and watercolor, gaining national and international recognition. In 2023, she won 22 awards, including 9 first-place honors in various exhibitions. Lyudmila participates on average 12 prestigious plein air events across the U.S. per year and recently was featured in the June/July issue of PleinAir magazine with an 8-page article, as well as the International Artist, and Watercolor magazines, and Splash books. Her work has been showcased in the PleinAir Salon, ArtFields, NOAPS, OPA and the American Impressionist Society. She is a signature member of numerous watercolor societies. Lyudmila earned a BFA in Illustration with highest honors from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC and the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Originally from Sofia, she immigrated to the U.S. in 1990, pursuing a successful career as a full-time painter, editorial illustrator, and designer in New York City.
