Mara Colecchia

I create dazzling ornaments weaving precious seed and repurposed vintage lucite beads.

Born and raised in Urbino, an art town in mid-northern Italy, I graduated from IED and I worked in the animation industry in Rome till 2009, when I relocated to California, to work in children entertainment. In Los Angeles I had many artistic pursuits, being an active member of the “Los Angeles Art Association” (2013 – 2017). “Maracole Bijoux”, my line of beaded jewelry, is my main artistic endeavor since 2019.
