Randi Berger
Bio:
Randi Berger is a classically trained artist, educator and entrepreneur whose career spans fine art, teaching -and jewelry design. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting from the Philadelphia College of Art, where she was honored with the Windsor and Newton Award for excellence in painting. She went on to receive her certification in Secondary Education from San Francisco State University and later earned her Master’s degree in art education from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, Philadelphia.
Randi devoted much of her career to teaching, serving as middle school art teacher in the Upper Merion Area School District in Pennsylvania and the Blue Valley School District in Kansas.
In addition to her teaching career, Randi owned and operated Caleb’s Lighthouse: A Sea of Beads, a retail and activity-based bead shop where she taught a wide variety of jewelry-making classes and hosted creative group workshops and events. During this time she brought her expertise as an instructor for the world renown Swarovski Company teaching Art Clay Silver during the prestigious Tuscan Bead, Gem & Mineral Show for several years.
Over the past two decades Randi has also exhibited and sold her paintings and jewelry at numerous arts & crafts festivals, blending her classical training with a passion for craftsmanship and community engagement.
Randi recently relocated to South Florida where she continues to pursue her passion for teaching, workshops and sharing the joy of creativity with others.
