Robin Roberts
Bio:
Robin Roberts is mostly a watercolor artist based in Ashland, Ohio, recognized for his evocative plein air landscapes that capture the spirit and mood of place. Inspired by his childhood explorations of Ohio’s woods, lakes, and fields, Robin’s work reflects a deep connection to nature, history, and regional culture. A graduate of Ashland University with a degree in Visual Communications, he has studied with various artists including Andy Evansen and John Lasater while continuing to learn from both Old Masters and contemporary painters. His award-winning work has earned recognition across the country, including Best in Show at the Ohio Plein Air Society exhibition Impressions en Plein Air at the Canton Museum of Art, the Judges Award at the 2024 Easton Plein Air competition, and selection for the American Impressionist National Show at New York City’s Salmagundi Club.
