Tracey Roedl
Bio:
Tracey Roedl has a long and diverse history in the jewelry industry. Her childhood passion for her great aunt’s jewelry dressing table peaked during a silversmithing and goldsmithing class in high school. She went on to do brief studies at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and Colorado Rocky Mountain School. Self-taught for many years, she did a goldsmithing apprenticeship with one of Aspen’s top designers/manufacturers. Her career took her into luxury sales and design, handling jewelry, gemstones, and watches from the finest jewelry houses. She specialized in designing and doing scale drawings for special clients. Tracey is a GIA Diamonds Graduate and has a GIA Pearl Grading and Colored Stone certificate. Studies with GIA also include Design.
She began teaching others how to make beautiful jewelry at Martin County Continuing Ed. in 2000 and the Lighthouse Artcenter in 2010. Her students are her inspiration.
