Step into the mesmerizing world of optical geometric precision! In this 4 week class, students will craft either a square or hexagon fused glass plate inspired by the eye-popping patterns of artists M.C. Escher and Victor Vasarely. Using an isometric grid as a foundation, you’ll explore the principles of perspective and visual perception to design a pattern that challenges the eye and tricks the mind. Students will learn to design on an isometric grid to create a 3D pattern effect by cutting glass into precise 60-degree diamonds. Cutting experience required.
