This is a class for the artist who is comfortable with their medium and is ready to take their work to a new level: Ignite your thinking about design, graduate from copying your subject matter to creatively exploring it, learn how to assess your own work in order to make informed decisions about necessary improvements, learn about different materials and mediums, express yourself more freely through expressive brush work and mark making. Demos and lectures will be on an as-needed basis, the rest of the class will be individual instruction. You will work from your own reference material.
