In this 4-week class, students will cover the foundations for wedging and centering clay on the potter’s wheel. From there we will learn how to make cups and bowls and how to trim the bottom of our pots. In the final week of class, students will explore the different possibilities to finish our work with basic glaze techniques. If there are more advanced students, they will learn how to alter pottery and make creative surface relief patterns in their work!
