This course will introduce the fundamental skills necessary to center clay on the potter’s wheel and produce vessels such as bowls, cylinders, mugs, plates and vases. Each student will become familiar with the ceramic facility.  Learn about the balance between the form, surface and utilitarian concerns with slips and glazes.
