For this unusual glass piece, we will be experimenting with various layout patterns. Seemingly minor, controlled changes to our glass size and shape paired with various spacing patterns will result in an amazingly different design once fired. These glass optic components bring an entirely new look to the glass composition! Learn how to cut very specific sizes in glass and lay out precise patterns over stringers. The ebb and flow of the glass once fired is an incredible look in fused glass that showcases magnification and controlled distortion. Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes and an apron.
