Learn the process of etching on glass without sandblasting equipment!

In this 3-hour workshop students will create 2 pieces of functional or decorative etch glasses that can then be embellished with other fused glass, copper wire, and objects of interest for one-of-a-kind, fun, useful gifts. Glass etching with acid is a process by which a resist is applied to glass and a design is either precut or hand cut before it is brushed with hydrofluoric acid.  Once the acid is applied the surface that is not covered with resist is etched away, lightening or changing its color.
