How did you do that?

This elegant dish is sure to get a second look and stir up some conversation. In this 4 week class you will create a complimentary dish set using the basic principles of kiln forming. We will work with stringers of various colors and small glass triangles, practice precise cutting skills and laying them out in a specific pattern surrounding a solid color of sheet glass. When fired in the kin they will physically distort the linear pattern and create an optical fan shape with fading colors. Be amazed at your one of a kind art glass creation!

Materials and firing schedules are supplied for this project with Additional materials and firing schedules available for purchase.

Please wear close-toed shoes, comfortable clothes and an apron.
