Learn how to create a sculptural form influenced by Louise Nevelson ( 1899-1988) Nevelson is known for her monochromatic wood assemblages, find treasures on the street, at the beach, in the garbage and yes, even in your closets! What kind of sculpture can you create from your treasures? This style of sculpting is a great narrative piece of your family, children, career etc., it’s your story to tell in a 3D genre. Techniques will include nailing, stapling, wire wrapping, threading, chemical bonding, liquid nails, cold connections and painting. The box for the wall relief is the most important unit to organize all your pieces. This workshop is designed to start and finish a sculpture, depending on intricacies
