A lot of basic glass cutting skills will be used in this 4 week class to create a beautiful bowl. Students will be cutting “Glass Toppers” and applying glass frit and stringers with them. Specific arrangement of these pieces will be stacked into a dam to contain your glass in the kiln. This will make a unique look that cannot be achieved in a regular full fusing. Learn to use tools to cold work thick glass and slump into a mold. Some cutting skills are helpful, but not necessary.

Materials and firing schedules are supplied for this project with Additional materials and firing schedules available for purchase. Please wear closed toes shoes, comfortable clothes and an apron.
