This course is a self-directed fused glass class. Bring in your own unique project ideas ranging from dishes and bowls to glass art (free standing or wall). Individual instruction on idea development, troubleshooting problems, and the final execution will be covered in class. Instruction on the glass grinders, saws, and other cold working equipment will be available. Two firings come with your tuition with a maximum dimension of 12×12”. Additional firings are .20 cents per square inch in the kiln.  Glass must be purchased in the studio for your projects.  Glass prices are dependent on type and size.  Please contact Carolyn Austin with your ideas prior to the first day of class if you’d like to hit the ground running when you come in!
