This introductory workshop illustrates the ease and fun of creating your own custom ceramic tiles for back splashes, kitchen and bathroom accents, trivets, coasters, wall hangings and more. Learn by playing with the inks for the first hour to get the “feel”. 4 demos will guide the student through the steps to creating a final landscape. The last tile will involve stamping on a creative background. Students will work with white ceramic bathroom tiles, using household items to create with, including paper towels, Q tips, gauze, felt, rags, coffee stirrers, cotton balls, old credit cards. (see materials list). You do not have to be an artist to enjoy this class.
