During this striking workshop, we will cover the basics of creating low-relief pieces using an ancient technique, Chasing, and Repoussé. We will learn how to transfer your design onto non-ferrous metal and the proper use of basic hand tools to develop decorative patterning with depth in a pitch bowl. These small-scale reliefs will be cold-connected to a back plate to make a jewelry. No experience is necessary! Although the Lighthouse provides most consumables and materials, please look at the student supply list for more details on how to prepare for this class.
