Learn the fundamentals of kiln formed glass to create a one of a kind bowl or dish from beginning to end. Students will be introduced to various glass working  tools, materials and supplies that are used in the basic method of glass fusion.  Demonstrations include design layout and preparation of your glass for firing, cold work (polishing), kiln fusing and slumping to complete your project. This is a great class for understanding and working through the process of making beautiful kiln formed pieces of glass art. You will walk away with the knowledge to move on to more advanced classes.  Materials and firing schedules are supplied for this project with Additional materials and firing schedules available for purchase .Please wear closed toes shoes, comfortable clothes and an apron.
