Learn how to create a sculptural form influenced by Louise Nevelson (1899-1988) Nevelson is known for her monochromatic wood assemblages, find treasures on the street, at the beach, in the garbage and yes, even in your closets! What kind of sculpture can you create from your treasures? Include books, old art paintings, greeting cards, think outside the box! This style of sculpting is a great narrative piece of your family, children, career etc., it’s your story to tell in a 3D genre. Techniques will include nailing, stapling, wire wrapping, threading, chemical bonding, liquid nails, cold connections and painting. This workshop is designed to start and finish a sculpture.
