It should be easy to write a memoir or novel – the raw material – the experience of a lifetime – is familiar to us. Yet we must overcome the anxiety; will anyone consider our work worth reading?

If you have lived, you have a story to tell. Whether your life has been a thrill ride or relatively normal, there’s bound to be something fascinating about it; something uniquely yours.

In this workshop, you will learn the techniques of focusing your life stories into compelling narratives. Whether you seek to write a full-length memoir or even short journal entries we’ll show you how to best tell the stories from your life and how to get them published in the new world of digital self-publishing.

The workshop will be helpful for beginning writers as for those seasoned writers who want to be inspired in a supportive group setting – whether your goal is to finish that memoir or start a simple journal.
