Open Jewelry Studio is an uninstructed session in which the studio and tools are made available for independent work. A monitor is present to oversee the space and assist with general workflow or equipment use as needed.
These sessions support participants who want to develop core jewelry-making skills, including design, fabrication, finishing techniques, material handling, and creative exploration. Participants may work on personal projects in the medium of their choice, within the scope of available equipment.
Prior experience in jewelry or metalsmithing is required. Participants are expected to work independently without formal instruction and must be familiar with the tools, materials, and processes they intend to use.
Adherence to all studio safety protocols is required. Participants must demonstrate proper handling of tools and equipment, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and follow all guidelines related to ventilation, protective equipment, and material use. The monitor may restrict access to equipment if safe operation cannot be demonstrated.
Participants must CALL to register
