Cover Up is a sequel to our Optic classes, where we use glass stringers and Capz , stacks of glass, to create a unique, optical look in fused glass. In this 4 week class you will learn the basics of working with stringers and the art of cutting, grouping and laying out a specific pattern to complete a one of a kind functional art glass project. We will use some of the same techniques in our last class but changing the parameters and glass color to make a very different piece along with 2 small companion pieces. Some cutting skills recommended. Materials and firing schedules are supplied for this project with Additional materials and firing schedules available for purchase.
