This comprehensive photography class will take the students from the basics of camera use to an advanced level use of their digital cameras. The students will learn to abandon the Auto Mode to advance shooting modes, suitable for different situations. The students will learn the Exposure Triangle, Metering, Focusing Modes and more. This first part of the class will be complemented with weekly exercises. As the student comprehend the camera, then the students will explore and learn extensively, Composition, Color Theory, why shooting in Black and White, some portraiture, and more. One the first day students are asked to three printed photos that he or she would be proud to showcase, and a digital camera with a charged battery. Every week there will be exercises to reinforce the knowledge acquired, and practice Constructive Critique, by which the students learn how to “see” their photos and from other students, reinforcing the knowledge acquired.
