Have some fun with your stash of scraps, learn a new way to make a functional zipper bag with an angle! Create an intricate quilted item using scraps and unconventional shapes. The piece is built one geometric segment at a time. We will use some templates and some “invented” shapes to create an interesting, functional work of textile art. Great for beginners, those who love wild colors and shapes and who are possibly a little bit intimidated by zippers! Bring a sewing machine in good working order. If you have fabric scrapes you would like to use, great! If not, the LAC will have some in their stash for you to use.
