In this class, we will review a few ways to include your unique gem into a ring, pendant, bracelet, and/or earrings. Demonstrations will cover tension setting a faceted stone, settings with a tooled edge, and back setting for a thick edge. We will develop interesting designs around your special stone to give it a contemporary look. Students must have experience with a jeweler’s saw and torch.

(2) 3mm round faceted stone – I have CZ’s that you can use! They were just donated. If you want a different color, you can purchase stones on riogrande or amazon.
