In this 2-day workshop, students will learn how to make pendants using fused glass cabochons and silver clay that they create and fuse. Day 1: Students will explore how heat and gravity are used to develop round or other shaped cabochons for jewelry. Students will learn glass-cutting skills and have a wide variety of glass and glass accessories. Day 2: Students we will make their one-of-a-kind silver clay pendant using a variety of application methods to set their fused glass cabochon. Silver clay comes in both a syringe and traditional solid lump form allowing for a range of effects once fired in the kiln. All materials are included with your tuition!
