Students will learn the manual exposure and aperture settings to take successful sunset photos. They will learn the use of neutral density filters that allow the long exposures required to create pleasing “blurring” of clouds and water.  They will learn to focus manually using the “Live View” screen on newer cameras. They will learn to use polarizing filters and reverse graduated neutral density filters to even exposures taken toward the sun.  A review of color temperature settings will be offered. The lesson also includes an overview of Light Room editing techniques from exposure blending to perspective correction.
