Stringers are made from sheet glass melted to a liquid state and pulled through a kiln to form a thin straight piece of glass to use in designing glass art projects. In this 3-hour workshop, students will learn how to cut and arrange these delicate stringers to fuse and then slump into a one-of-a-kind piece of glass art for display. Materials and firing schedules are included with additional materials and firings schedules available for purchase. Please wear closed-toed shoes, comfortable clothes, and an apron.
