Aspiring artists can experience painting in the outdoors, drawing inspiration from the world around them. Students will meet at the Gazebo in Constitution Park for 3 outdoor painting sessions, using watercolors to create colorful landscapes. Students will learn to paint gesturally and from observation with confidence. Once students have mastered painting in the outdoors, we will meet in the classroom where they will work from photos to complete their landscapes. Some drawing experience is preferred.
