Wine Down Wednesdays are unique hands-on experiences that provide students with the opportunity to try something new and exciting here at Lighthouse ArtCenter. Each event is geared for both the curious beginner and the experienced artist. These fun-filled, two hour evenings allow people to explore a variety of disciplines with talented instructors. Choose from glass, jewelry, ceramics, or painting. All tools and materials are included unless stated otherwise.
Advance registration is required. Walk-ins are not permitted.
Registration for each Wednesday event closes at 4:00 PM.

These sleepy face planters provide the perfect loving home for your plants. Change the hairstyle your face planter is sporting by changing the plant. Every face is created by hand. No molds are used, so each of these lovely faces is one of a kind! Plant not provided.

Great for Beginners and a fun night out with friends and family! Try your hand at Glass Fusion. In this mini workshop you will learn how to cut glass and properly lay out a pattern using a variety of colored glass, frit and stingers to create a one of a kind functional or decorative piece of art glass in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
Materials and firing schedules are included with additional materials and firings schedules available for purchase. Please wear closed toed shoes, comfortable clothes and an apron if you like.

In this 2 hour wheel class, students will cover the fundamentals of the potter’s wheel. From there students will learn how to make vessels, such as cups and bowls. Each student will walk away having completed 3-4 of their very own thrown creations. All supplies included- no experience necessary.
