Mark Stall been a photographer for over 50 years. Mark has been creating images with an iPhone for over 10 years. The iPhone is one of the world’s most frequently used cameras. Mark’s workshop will demonstrate how to improve everyday photos and create dazzling works of art. Mark considers his iPhone his ”Digital Brownie Camera” due to its simplicity. iPhones are digital darkrooms with sophisticated apps empowering you to do so many mind-boggling things.
This is Mark’s 10th year teaching iPhone photo workshops. Mark designed his workshops for beginners thru experienced photographers interested in learning to use their iPhones as a camera for both taking and post-processing their photographs. Mark will show the best way to set up the features of an iPhone camera, some general photographic techniques, and several powerful apps. to improve and enhance your images. Every participant should own an Apple iPhone. The newer their iPhone the more it will match Mark’s workshop but many techniques can be used with any version. Everyone should have access to your WIFI, have AirDrop ready to go on their iPhones, and download three apps that Mark will email them prior to each workshop.
Editing your iPhone Photos in SnapSeed and the Apple Photos App with Mark Stall

Stall has been a photographer for over 50 years. Mark has been creating images with an iPhone for over 11 years. The iPhone is one of the world’s most frequently used cameras. Mark’s workshop will demonstrate how to improve everyday photos and be prepared for many photo opportunities. Mark will teach how you can edit any image in a free app called SnapSeed and some key features of the Apple Photos App. Mark will show the best way to edit any image created on your iPhone, from a family portrait on a beach, to your next travel photos or a snapshot captured while walking down the street. SnapSeed is a powerful, yet simple app, capable of improving every photo in your album. Once you learn the workflow, you’ll be able to improve every photo of a person or turn any image into a work of art. Mark will demonstrate most of the editing tools you’ll use on every image, how to save multiple versions and how to go back to make simple or major changes. Every participant should own an Apple iPhone and download the free app, SnapSeed from the Apple App Store or Google. Everyone will have access to the Wi-Fi and use AirDrop ready to receive a long list of worthwhile links to features and articles to further enhance your appreciation for your iPhones.

Mark will dive deep into explaining the features of the iPhone camera including the Photo app, Pano, Portrait, Video, Cinematic, Slo-Mo, and Time-Lapse. There are many more settings in each camera app that require explanation to take full advantage of these capabilities. Mark will show the best way to select and use these features to improve your photography. Along with some general photo techniques, you will be on your way to improving your photography and enhancing your images. Every participant should own an Apple iPhone. The newer the iPhone and iOS, the more the techniques will apply.
