Each week, you’ll dive into a new 2-hour class, exploring different styles, techniques, and artistic vibes. It’s the perfect way to sample the arts, spark your creativity, and maybe even discover your new favorite hobby! No experience needed and all materials are included!Includes:
Ceramic Wheel with Ron Shaw
June 7 1-3pm | Studio D
Students will gain the basic fundamentals of wheel work and a general understanding of the ceramic process, which includes firing & glazing. Each student will walk away having completed 4 pieces of their very own wheel thrown creation.
Glass Fusion with Carolyn Austin
June 14 1-3pm | Studio G
In this mini workshop you will learn how to cut glass and properly lay out a pattern using a variety of colored glass, frit and stingers to create a one of a kind functional or decorative piece of art glass in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere.
REcycled Fiber Collage with Sandy Donabed
June 21 1-3pm | Flex Space
This beginner-friendly workshop will provide the basics of fiber art using colorful scrap fabrics (cotton) to create a hanging art collage. Students will be introduced to embellishing techniques and heat fusing methods. Learn how to integrate various colors and patterns from your personal fabric stash and/or materials provided by the Lighthouse to make an interesting, fun composition. Please feel free to bring personal fabric from home (cotton).
Stacking Rings with Tracy Roedl

Make your own beautiful set of stacking rings! During this workshop, everyone will learn how to size and solder sterling silver wire to create 3 rings.
